Ruth joined the hospital’s staff in May, 1970, and has been a member of the Medical Staff Services team since January, 2005.

A few of her responsibilities include:

  • Oversight for the credentialing and privileging of over 1,100 physicians, dentists, and podiatrists on the Medical Staff and over 450 members of the Allied Health Staff.
  • Oversight for VeriQuaL, the for-profit credentialing and privileging service.
  • Support to Medical Staff leadership and oversight for the administrative support for various Medical Staff functions and committees, including Bylaws, General Medical Staff, and Medical Executive Committee.
  • Assure compliance with JCAHO, the Department of Health, and other regulatory agencies as they pertain to credentialing and privileging of practitioners
