Barrie has been a member of the hospital staff since 1988, and has been a member of Medical Staff Services since August 2003.

A few of his responsibilities include:

• Oversight of implementation and development of:
  - IntelliCred Credentialing Software
  - OnBase Document Imaging System
• Support of Credentialing Services activities through design of merged forms and reports via the credentialing system
• Support of network-wide Physician Staff Development activities via custom reporting from IntelliCred and WebTrends
• Support of external departments with the provision of custom reports and mailing labels
• Coordination of regular updating of Lehigh Valley Health Network Website Physician Directory with physician information from the IntelliCred credentialing system
• Maintenance of Lastword provider records for Medical Staff, Allied Health Staff, Residents, and community physicians
• Researching new technologies and trends applicable to the Medical Staff
